This years tournament proved to be a very good result for this team. We finished ahead of the majority of our field, and with Hermitage Tech's help allowed us to further grow and expand our influence on this region and other regions. We proved we belong in First. Here are some intresting things i noticed in my time at the regional. These are just stats in regards to what was occuring in the regional.
31 teams had tied in a match at one point or another. 5 of those teams accomplished to tie 3 times, 7 teams tied twice, and 19 teams tied once. A little more than half the field was able to keep from tying.
Rankings were based on a simple concept. Wins vs. losses and ties. The #10 seed(1907) had tied 3 times during the tournament. They only lost once and won their remaining 4 matches. Thats heart to have setbacks like that
Want to know the difference between us(30th) and 1907(10th) 1907 won-4 lost-1 tied-3 1033 won-3 lost-2 tied-3
Thats pretty close for a 20 place difference.
Wanna know how important scoring first is? of all the matches i saw and recorded the team that scrored first won nearly 80% of the time. Human players scored nearly as often as autonomous. The truth behind this is, if you can score first, the odds are you are likely to win.
More to come

Random stats: Only one team recieved a yellow card (414) consistently unstable ramp- Oddly enough, Hermitage stripped this ramp and decided to go with push and shove, it worked as they were seeded 9th in the tournament.
it took 16 consecutive matches until 1086 (Deep Run) perfected their autonomous, it showed in the quarterfinals as they beat us and their sparky clone from Tucker.
Fort's Awards and Recognition High Scores by Day Day 1-1033, 1885, and 384 scoring 128 points Day 2-Team 116 single handedly scores 7 rings in a short 2 minutes, but team penalties pull it down to 108 points. Day 3- Quarterfinal 3 match 3- Teams 2068, 343, and 612 roll on to the semifinals only to lose the 2nd place alliance-100 points
MVT-Most Valuable Team The Triad was good.........but not good enough Team 928 helped the cause and brought home a win for their alliance: They placed 4th in qualifiers and didnt miss a beat in the bracket portion of the regional.
Biggest surprise: Hermitage's success in spite of ramp troubles and virtually no scoring mechanism. Biggest Disappoinment: we saw sparky versus sparky in quarterfinals, but none in finals, these 3 passed up any opporunity to have a strong alliance team as well, but maybe godwin's team knew something the other two teams didnt.
thats all for now
